A great primer on getting started along the path to deepening daily prayer
David Torkington has a real gift for explaining the life of prayer in a way that encourages ordinary Christians to undertake a more consistent and enriching practice of prayer. This gift is evident in this little book. If you want to grow closer to God through prayer but have found many books on developing your prayer life either too confusing or too elementary, this may be the book for you.

I intend to reread Prayer Made Simple several times. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for, for a very long time. I was disheartened by the way I was unable to pray, and the more I became discouraged the less able I seemed to be. However, this little booklet is full of useful information and inspiration. I intend to read more of David Torkington. His booklet has been a tremendous help to me and I’m very grateful.
